DESCRIPTION:Breathing is overrated. And breathing is underrated. Playing with the breath of your partner can be absolutely mind-blowing and titillating. In this class we make sure that a) you do it with the necessary safety precautions and b) have fun with it. \nThere are definitely too many myths and semi-true infos about breath play out there and getting the education about it from a professional ultimately makes it better. \nWe will be bringing\, amongst other things\, dental floss\, gas masks and a chess set\, gloves (black latex and leather)\, one of those cheap plastic shower caps from a hotel bathroom…. straight jacket masks\, a cattle prod\, a stick of some kind\, and a mouth spreader. Also a clean handkerchief and maybe a pocket cpr mask.

DESCRIPTION:New to kink and don’t know where to start? Interested in going to events but you don’t know how to behave\, what to wear\, what to do? You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.

DESCRIPTION:This workshop explores breath\, impulse\, voice and movement through a somatic algorithm called Touch Me Hold Me Let Me Go\, developed by Lee Su-Feh from years of research and practice as a choreographer and teacher of voice and movement.   \nTouch Me Hold Me Let Me Go helps you speak and move from a place of support and ease. It is a tool to practice making requests and stating boundaries from an embodied place. Participants can expect to roll around on and off the floor; tune in to their breath and voice; and explore consent and permission around touch. Embedded in the work is ongoing attention to pain and injury\, as well as permission to rest. Pleasure and care will be our compass in this work. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Studio Allegory’s first Queer International Rope & Kink Symposium. \nSOLD OUT – Waitlist available\nOver the period of 3 days we will have 12 workshops and classes\, 3 play parties\, and plenty of time in between to connect with other queer\, curious kinksters in our beautiful and accessible studio*. \nJoin us solo or bring your whole polycule and friends circle to experience a weekend full of exploration of kinks\, sexualities\, intimacies\, and relationships. \nYou can expect a large variety of topics taught by international and local queer presenters whose approaches veer away the old tropes and clichés of a cis heteronormative world of kink and intimacy. \nFor all the info about the symposium\, from presenters and their classes to program\, useful resources and links\, to publications after the conference\, please have a look at the symposium’s resource hub: \nQuirks Info Post\n  \nPlease note: The symposium is happening during the whole weekend. The Intro session is mandatory for participants to ensure that everyone understands the house rules and the workings of the symposium. Any other session is voluntary. DESCRIPTION:The role of disabled people in revolutionary struggle has been largely erased in the public memory. In truth\, disabled people have played an important role in theorizing\, planning\, and enacting revolution across the globe; many of the great figures of history that you are already familiar with lived with significant chronic health conditions that informed their thinking and methods alike. DESCRIPTION:A workshop with Jillian Christmas \nI am arriving at the belief that all good poetry is erotic\, and that all erotic good is certainly poetry. Which is not to say that all “erotic” “poetry” is “good”. But rather\, that an access to eroticism is at the core of what makes any poetry anywhere any good at all. What I name here to be the most erotic of acts is the distribution and acquisition of attention.\n\nAll good poetry is erotic because it labours to carry us into closer relationship with our own humanity. All good poetry is erotic because it endeavours to salt our wounds alive! Erotic\, as it reveals\, examines and forgives our shifting moralities\, erotic\, as it begs us to confront our naked vulnerabilities – as it reminds us that we are merely flesh and bone and blood and sweat and breath and cum and spirit.\n\nIf eroticism is not evident immediately or explicitly in the language\, or imagery of a good poem\, undeniably it will be present within the ethos\, praxis\, and labour of the writing itself. A stretch toward freedom is embedded in the very need to carve the words\, to conjure a memory out of absence is an act fueled by desire; freedom is inherently erotic.\n\nA human being can be seen: waging every imaginable manner of irreconcilable war\, crafting innumerable dimensions of havoc – all while dreaming of a soft bed\, on the other side of the ocean of our destruction. Everywhere there are gnarled and tangled horsemen of some apocalypse\, yearning to distract us from the patient hands of a waiting lover.\n\nWhat is a revolution\, if not an opportunity to turn — our attention toward a most deserving direction. Connection. Love. The ache of caress. A willing and consenting witness to some deeply chosen movement. Your body desires you. Your body deserves you…lean into the erotics of your own attention. Make poetry of everything you notice. Our desires shape the world we create.\n\nThis is a writing\, being\, relating and moving workshop designed to be accessible for all bodies.\n\nOver 2.5 hours we will engage in gentle rope work\, reflection\, writing\, conversation\, and a depth of curiosity.\n\n\nPlease carry with you:\n\n\n– any small sacred items that help you to conjure\n\n– rope (at least a couple lengths. We have loaner ropes!)\n\n– writing implements\n\n– a love of consent\n\n– a partner (…if you like\, but not mandatory)\n\n– a spirit of play\n\n– an open mind\n\n– water (stay hydrated)
