DESCRIPTION:The brain is part of your body\, come and stimulate that part by nerding out about the reasons behind. Why do ropes slide around on the body? Why do you pinch someone’s skin when you neglect Newton’s 3rd law? Why does a human resume a more comfortable position after a while? Why symmetry is not just aesthetics? What the f are memories of a future past? And why do I only have one sexuality and yet it is not mine? \nUpon multiple requests\, Georg Barkas is going to the chalk board and we will get those brain cells working. No worries\, there won’t be an exam and you can’t “fail” the class. We will be embarking on this journey into differential geometry\, quantum mechanics\, Noether theorem\, and a bit of Derrida in a fun and entertaining way. \nIn House AND Virtual Event!  \nIf you buy the virtual event ticket\, you will get a zoom link per email 24h before the class starts. Everyone\, in house participants as well as virtual participants will get access to the recording for 14 days after the event. Timezone is Pacific Standard Time.

DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. All constellations are welcome.  \n\n\n\nIn a safe environment\, participants can challenge themselves and each other to fight with each other in a playful and joyful way. Not winning but experiencing is the focus of this monthly event. At play fighting\, we will start with an introduction that covers motivation\, safety\, consent\, and expectations. \n\n\n\nAfterwards\, it’s the participants’ space and time to experience play fights themselves.

You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.

Following intro’s\, Annix will demo their latest needle technique or obsession. This segment may be filmed and photographed with only Annix and their piercing partner in the footage. \nAfter the intro and demo you’re encouraged to play\, skill share\, and innovate new pathways in your practice. SUMMARY:Exploring Sadomasochism
DESCRIPTION:We tend to see certain images over and over in popular media: sadists who are cold\, detached\, brutal; masochists who are self-sabotaging and weak. As kinksters we know there are many more ways to be both of these things\, but what are they and how do you figure out which fits you best? What is so fun about playing with pain?\nAre you someone who likes pushing people emotionally and seeing their face squirm\, or would you rather hit hard and ask questions later? Do you want to be quickly beaten into submission\, or strung out for a long time before you get what’s coming to you? Is your inner sadist a schoolyard bully or a strict interrogator? As a masochist are you a pathetic punching bag or a steadfast devotee? \nIn this workshop\, we will explore ways to find out what things really delight you about sadomasochism (from either side of it). Once we’ve identified these things\, how do we integrate them into our self image? What does it say about us if we get turned on by torture? SUMMARY:Sharps and Needles
DESCRIPTION:In this class Annix will share some of the risks when playing with sharps and blood\, while also covering safer station setup\, basics of piercing\, wound care\, and cleanliness.  \n\n\n\nThey will also share more detailed medical risks\, procedures\, and information to help equip you with more safety measures and responses. After the discussion part of the class everyone will follow along with Annix to set up a safer sharps play station\, administer a needle to oneself or a classmate\, remove needle(s)\, provide wound care\, and station clean up. All materials will be provided\, though you are welcome to bring your own materials. Wear something comfortable\, bring water\, and be sure to eat about 30-60 minutes before class.  \n\n\n\nA pro-domme and harm-reduction worker with a life-long obsession with sharps and blood. Annix is continuously learning new things to help deepen and improve their sharps practice. Some of their experience includes working as an assistant to hook suspension performers\, self piercing since 2004\, classes (online and in person) on sharps play\, sharps cleanliness and wound care\, and doing skill shares with a professional piercer. Their first aid and harm reduction training also plays a role in how they approach their practice. DESCRIPTION:Creative wax play workshop for those who want to learn more about the do’s and don’t’s of wax play.  \n\n\n\nWax play is full of possibilities\, from anticipation to sensation\, from art to pain\, or incorporated into a massage session. Playing with wax is exciting but not without some risks. In this class\, Barkas & Emmy are teaching some of the basics before going into the creative aspects of wax play. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. DESCRIPTION:New to kink and don’t know where to start? Interested in going to events but you don’t know how to behave\, what to wear\, what to do? You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.
