We go through basic techniques\, knots & frictions\, safety and consent\, movement\, communication\, and artistic representation. Participants will be able to tie with each other in a joyful and interesting way. We understand each class as directed at both\, the person in ropes as well as the person tying. \nCurriculum \n\n\n1st Friday per month: Single & Double column ties. The basic knots\n2nd Friday per month: Safety\, consent\, and pre-scene negotiation\n3rd Friday per month: Frictions and Hitches. You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.

DESCRIPTION:This month’s BIPOC Jam will be less structured and more like an open jam. Det’ele will open up the group and leave space for any topics people want to discuss and then the rest of the time will be for talking with people\, tying with people\, tying alone or tying around people. Det’ele will go over some intro rope skills if anyone wants to go over that and will be there to answer any questions rope newbies have. \nJust a reminder this rope jam is for people of the global South\, People of Colour and Indigenous\, Brown and Black people\, we love our White allies but this space is not for you. We hope to see you there! \nBring a friend!  \nTickets are PWYC with a suggestion of $15. \nAll skill levels welcome! Bring rope if you have some but some loaners will be available. DESCRIPTION:Shibari Live Drawing differs from usual live drawing sessions in two major ways. For one\, the poses that can be reached with the help of ropes are very different from anything live drawing models could assume on their own\, e.g. suspensions.  \nOn the other hand\, those poses are short living\, which means that artists are not only met with unusual poses but also with less time to catch them.  \nIn two Shibari performances by different Shibari practitioners from the community\, the participants will meet different body types every time.  \nAll levels welcome\, all media welcome (photography is dependent on the performer’s individual wishes and only as long as it does not disturb the other participants).  \n\n\n\n\n\n
