This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? DESCRIPTION:Shibari Live Drawing differs from usual live drawing sessions in two major ways. For one\, the poses that can be reached with the help of ropes are very different from anything live drawing models could assume on their own\, e.g. suspensions.  \nOn the other hand\, those poses are short living\, which means that artists are not only met with unusual poses but also with less time to catch them.  \nIn two Shibari performances by different Shibari practitioners from the community\, the participants will meet different body types every time.  \nAll levels welcome\, all media welcome (photography is dependent on the performer’s individual wishes and only as long as it does not disturb the other participants).  \n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Women Tying Women is a new rope jam at Studio Allegory that welcomes all self-identifying women — cis\, trans\, and non-binary folks comfortable in a space centering women. \nHeld on the first Monday of each month\, these evenings are about connection\, creativity\, inspiration\, and having fun with ropes in a safe(r) space. \nAll levels\, bodies and curiosities are welcome. SUMMARY:Queer BIPOC Jam
DESCRIPTION:This series of events aims to create a safe and community-focused space for Black\, Indigenous and Persons of Color who love rope. \n\n\n\nDetails on the subject of this edition will be announced soon. \n\n\n\n🦋 Things to Know:· All levels welcome (many of our participants are newbies and we love that!)· This is a masked event· Come solo or in group\, make new rope friends!· Bring your ropes\, some loaner ropes are available on site. \n\n\n\n🍈 Accessibility: this space is wheel chair friendly\, with a quiet room and a small kitchen for tea. \n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\n\n\nDate and Time: Every last Sunday of the month. 2pm\n\n\n\nDuration: ~4h\n\n\n\nFee: PWYC (Nobody gets turned away!)\n\n\n\nPrerequisites: None\n\n\n\nMaterial to bring: Rope if you have. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap\, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks available. On Particularly hot days\, we run an AC unit.   \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. DESCRIPTION:New to kink and don’t know where to start? Interested in going to events but you don’t know how to behave\, what to wear\, what to do? You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.
