DESCRIPTION:Ropes for the bedroom (Or any other room\, really) \n\n\n\nRopes for the bedroom is a 4 week workshop series for people who would like to explore the possibilities of ropes for the bedroom and other rooms. We are covering everything you need to know to incorporate ropes in a fun and satisfying way. In a safe(r) and welcoming environment\, we are developing techniques and approaches to rope bondage (shibari) that are actually useful for you. You can attend single parts of the series or all of the series.   \n\n\n\nPart 1: (July 5th)  \n\n\n\n\n\nSafety and consent\n\n\n\nWrist and ankle cuffs\n\n\n\nThe sensation of rope\n\n\n\nDouble column ties and attaching a wrist to a bedpost (for example)\n\n\n\nDifferent positions\n\n\n\n\n\nPart 2: (July 12th) \n\n\n\n\nBrief recap of most important techniques\n\n\n\nAttachment lines to structures that are further away\n\n\n\nDifferent positions\n\n\n\nWrapping your partner’s body\, frictions and hitches\n\n\n\nSensory play while in ropes\n\n\n\n\nPart 3: (July 19th)  \n\n\n\n\nBrief recap of the most important techniques\n\n\n\nToys and ropes: How does the hitachi stay in place\n\n\n\nToys made of ropes. Can I tie a strapon? (yes\, you can) \n\n\n\n“Dirty” floorwork\n\n\n\nPartial suspensions and the possibilities\n\n\n\n\nPart 4: (July 26th)  \n\n\n\n\nBrief recap of the most important techniques\n\n\n\nSweet torment: Stay in place while I have fun\n\n\n\nPossibilities for cuckolding/queaning\n\n\n\nPredicaments: You can choose between sensation A and B\n\n\n\nThe untying process as the main act. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate and Time:\n\nSeries One: July 5th\, 12th\, 19th\, 26th. 11am till ~2.30pm\n\n\n\n\n\nDuration: ~3.5h per class\n\n\n\nFee: Each part is $70 (plus taxes) per pair! Visit all four parts for $250 (plus taxes) and safe $30. \n\n\n\nPrerequisites: None. We recommend visiting part one at least for the other parts but we will recap the basic techniques briefly in the beginning of each part\n\n\n\nMaterial to bring: Ropes if you have\, we can provide loaner ropes but don’t permit them to be used in contact with mucus membranes (mouth or crotch)\n\n\n\nFor individuals or pairs: Recommended for pairs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n\nJuly Series – Individual classes and complete series \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFineprint\n\n\n\nPlease have a look at our policies and safety rules. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nAccessibility: \n\n\n\n\nStudio Allegory is on the ground floor and there are no steps anywhere in the space. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap\, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. Between 48h and the start of the workshop\, we can provide a partial refund (50% minus payment processing fees.) or transfer of the ticket to a similar event in the future. \n\n\n\nNo refund or transfer can be offered for no-shows or cancellation after the event has started.

SUMMARY:Welcome Back: A Summer Solstice Ritual with Sharon Pink
DESCRIPTION:As we enter into Summer’s illuminating energy\, what are you called to welcome back\, or perhaps welcome for the first time? Held in a space of magic and kink\,  the invitation is to immerse in an embodied practice (rope or otherwise) to explore your personal and collective aspirations. \n\n\n\nNo specific experience in ritual or kink is needed\, for real! Everything is optional and will be explained as we go along.If rope isn’t your thing\, you’re welcome to bring in another practice/play that will be conducive to a shared space; Bondage\, flogging\, massage\, d/s service\, leather care (no fragrance please!)\, have all worked well in the past. \n\n\n\nA bit of what to expect: Our ritual will begin by Sharon leading the group in collectively casting a circle\, which is a magical container to hold us. Within this circle\, you are invited into a variety of intuitive activities\, listening to poetry\, have space for rope or other practices and allow our intuitive and magical selves to be nourished and have a bit of respite.
