DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. All constellations are welcome.  \n\n\n\nIn a safe environment\, participants can challenge themselves and each other to fight with each other in a playful and joyful way. Not winning but experiencing is the focus of this monthly event. Participants will learn about the theory of the mind\, how the subconscious operates\, how hypnotic states are induced\, and what actually happens during hypnosis. We will clear up common myths\, discuss the applications and ethics of consent-based erotic hypnosis (hypnokink)\, and review evidence-based findings on hypnosis and\, further\, on BDSM and hypnokink. The session includes two live demonstrations\, and audience members will have the option to experience entering a hypnotic trance state if they choose to participate.Please note: This session builds on the May 2\, 2025 workshop. DESCRIPTION:Women Tying Women is a new rope jam at Studio Allegory that welcomes all self-identifying women — cis\, trans\, and non-binary folks comfortable in a space centering women. \nHeld on the first Monday of each month\, these evenings are about connection\, creativity\, inspiration\, and having fun with ropes in a safe(r) space. \nAll levels\, bodies and curiosities are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Still figuring out your boundaries?  Uncertain as to how to navigate touch in new relationships and first encounters? Curious about leveling up your practice of consent? \n\n\n\nTogether\, we will be moving through a framework intended to help participants discover their boundaries and desires\, as well as tune in to their particular sense of pleasure. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. DESCRIPTION:In this class Annix will share some of the risks when playing with sharps and blood\, while also covering safer station setup\, basics of piercing\, wound care\, and cleanliness.  \n\n\n\nThey will also share more detailed medical risks\, procedures\, and information to help equip you with more safety measures and responses. After the discussion part of the class everyone will follow along with Annix to set up a safer sharps play station\, administer a needle to oneself or a classmate\, remove needle(s)\, provide wound care\, and station clean up. All materials will be provided\, though you are welcome to bring your own materials. Wear something comfortable\, bring water\, and be sure to eat about 30-60 minutes before class.  \n\n\n\nA pro-domme and harm-reduction worker with a life-long obsession with sharps and blood. Annix is continuously learning new things to help deepen and improve their sharps practice. Some of their experience includes working as an assistant to hook suspension performers\, self piercing since 2004\, classes (online and in person) on sharps play\, sharps cleanliness and wound care\, and doing skill shares with a professional piercer. Their first aid and harm reduction training also plays a role in how they approach their practice. Our teaching style is highly collaborative\, and there will be some switching and self tying involved as part of the learning process.This workshop series is one complete part. Participants are required to attend all parts with each other. DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. DESCRIPTION:OR how to safely and confidently suspend your friends without making enemies \n\n\n\n\nDESIRED OUTCOME\n\n\n\nBy the end of this series\, you should understand the basics of how to: \n\n\n\n\ntie two all purpose uplines suitable for most suspensions\n\n\n\nattach those uplines to your harnesses\n\n\n\nevaluate ties that you already know for suspension readiness\n\n\n\nnegotiate collaborative feedback and headspace with your partner\n\n\n\nfigure out how to evaluate what you should practice next\n\n\n\n\nAUDIENCE\n\n\n\nAimed towards paired tying\, with switches very welcome. Our teaching style is highly collaborative\, and there will be some switching and self tying involved as part of the learning process.This workshop series is one complete part. Participants are required to attend all parts with each other. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern.
