SUMMARY:UPGOING: A Novice’s Guide to Partnered Suspension

Our teaching style is highly collaborative\, and there will be some switching and self tying involved as part of the learning process.This workshop series is one complete part. Participants are required to attend all parts with each other. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern. DESCRIPTION:A guided skillshare on the use of light when shooting rope scenes.\n\n\n\nWe are inviting those who would like to delve into the world of rope and kink photography  for a special class about creative lighting for photography. In this guided skillshare with lots of useful tips and tricks. With access to a professional light setup\, we are looking specifically at how the picture is shaped by a conscious choice of light\, frame\, and composition of the scene. No prerequisites necessary. DESCRIPTION:The spookiest play party with a pumpkin tying competition. The best tied up pumpkin wins a pie\, handmade and terrifyingly delicious. \n\n\n\nThere are not many holidays that we observe at Studio Allegory. But this occasion is too good to let pass. DESCRIPTION:For this session\, participants are invited to explore intimacy in the process of mummification. As a form of heavy bondage\, mummification has been described as a way to feel\, to not feel\, to heal and to submit\, but what if it is also a way to connect with someone or yourself intimately? Let’s explore that! You can also expect to exchange experiences\, stories and tips with other attendees. \n\n\n\nAll levels are welcome. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap\, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\n\n\n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\n\n\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \n\n\n\nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. DESCRIPTION:The Tuesday All Level runs on an 8-week rotation. At the start of each rotation we introduce a new harness structure. Over the subsequent 7 weeks we then approach that structure from multiple different directions and purposes\, both technical and interpersonal. How can we break down and alter the harness to make it work in certain ways? Can we tie it while moving/dancing/sitting/playfighting? How does it behave in suspension? How can we make it ornate\, or comfortable\, or robust? We also build skills and habits to keep the focus on the interaction between humans rather than the pattern.
