Participants will be able to tie with each other in a joyful and interesting way. The basic knots\n2nd Friday per month: Safety\, consent\, and pre-scene negotiation\n3rd Friday per month: Frictions and Hitches. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.

DESCRIPTION:Hosted every second Sunday of the month by Annix (O Collective). \nThe event will begin with a circle and introduction with Annix to outline safety and procedural expectations within the space. Following intro’s\, Annix will demo their latest needle technique or obsession. This segment may be filmed and photographed with only Annix and their piercing partner in the footage. \nAfter the intro and demo you’re encouraged to play\, skill share\, and innovate new pathways in your practice. DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. \nIn a safe environment\, participants can challenge themselves and each other to fight with each other in a playful and joyful way. Not winning but experiencing is the focus of this monthly event. We go through basic techniques\, knots & frictions\, safety and consent\, movement\, communication\, and artistic representation. Participants will be able to tie with each other in a joyful and interesting way. We understand each class as directed at both\, the person in ropes as well as the person tying. \nCurriculum \n\n\n1st Friday per month: Single & Double column ties. The basic knots\n2nd Friday per month: Safety\, consent\, and pre-scene negotiation\n3rd Friday per month: Frictions and Hitches. How to keep the ropes in place\n4th Friday per month: Fundamental upper body tie – “Takate Kote”\n5th Friday per month: Wild card\n\nParticipants of the intro to rope series have free access to the open jam directly after the class.

DESCRIPTION:Sharps and sadism anyone? In this class we explore how to place needles in a way that creates pressure and causes more pain/sensation to the person getting stabbed. You will be shown a range from simple to more extreme types of pain buttons\, different placement and removal options. Specific safety and considerations will be discussed\, but we will NOT go over the basics of piercing and sharps safety in this class.\nNeedle experience and some materials required.\n\nMandatory Materials to bring:\n\n\nGloves\nSharps container\nNeedles (Must be hypodermic or hollow piercing needles. Several gauges encouraged but not mandatory).\nPrep pads ex. BZK\, saline\, or alcohol pads\nBasic wound care ex. band aids\, and gauze.\n\nOptional Materials:\n\n\n\nTray or surface to set up on.\nBarriers like puppy pads or plastic drop sheet.\nSnack\, beverage\, candy.\nChange of clothes that provide access to more piercing surface area.\n\n\n\nMaterials provided:\n\n\nCavi wipes\nDental bibs\nEmergency First Aid kit\nGarbage bags

SUMMARY:Differential Geometry for Perverts
DESCRIPTION:The brain is part of your body\, come and stimulate that part by nerding out about the reasons behind. Why do ropes slide around on the body? Why do you pinch someone’s skin when you neglect Newton’s 3rd law? Why does a human resume a more comfortable position after a while? Why symmetry is not just aesthetics? What the f are memories of a future past? And why do I only have one sexuality and yet it is not mine? \nUpon multiple requests\, Georg Barkas is going to the chalk board and we will get those brain cells working. No worries\, there won’t be an exam and you can’t “fail” the class. We will be embarking on this journey into differential geometry\, quantum mechanics\, Noether theorem\, and a bit of Derrida in a fun and entertaining way. \nIn House AND Virtual Event!  \nIf you buy the virtual event ticket\, you will get a zoom link per email 24h before the class starts. Everyone\, in house participants as well as virtual participants will get access to the recording for 14 days after the event. Timezone is Pacific Standard Time.
