DESCRIPTION:Shibari Live Drawing differs from usual live drawing sessions in two major ways. For one\, the poses that can be reached with the help of ropes are very different from anything live drawing models could assume on their own\, e.g. suspensions.  \nOn the other hand\, those poses are short living\, which means that artists are not only met with unusual poses but also with less time to catch them.  \nIn two Shibari performances by different Shibari practitioners from the community\, the participants will meet different body types every time.  \nAll levels welcome\, all media welcome (photography is dependent on the performer’s individual wishes and only as long as it does not disturb the other participants).  \n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Very often when people as whether it’s okay or advisable to play with trauma the answer is: don’t. Better not touch it. You will re-traumatize yourself. Wait until you’re “healed”. \nBut here’s the thing: Most of us are already doing it. Whether we are aware of it or not. \nFuck Your Trauma starts by acknowledging that trauma and kink are already in the room together. The question isn’t whether to engage with that but how to do it with more awareness\, more care\, and more curiosity. \nThis is not a workshop with answers. It’s a discussion that reframes the conversation entirely. Away from ideas of brokenness\, re-traumatization and kink as “healing\,” and toward a harm reduction approach that makes space for self-knowledge\, resourcefulness\, and genuine curiosity about what’s actually happening when we play. \nWe’ll look at this structurally\, not personally. No one will be asked to share their traumatic experiences. Instead\, we’ll explore frameworks and ideas for approaching this kind of play in an intentional way.

Taught by a medical professional\, this workshop invites you on a journey of exploring the butt\, be it your own or that of another. We start with safety and hygiene considerations\, go over some theoretical medical facts about nerves and sphincters\, and then go into more in depth ways of having fun with that fantastic part of almost everyone’s body.

DESCRIPTION:The sum is more than its parts. When it comes to multiple simultaneous power relationships\, things can get overwhelming really quickly. Especially in intersecting communities of queer\, disabled\, and otherwise marginalized and policed bodies\, contexts like economic dependencies\, disabilities\, accessibilities\, and traumata are adding to the complexity. \nIn this class we look at possible pitfalls and tools to navigate aspects like consent\, jealousy\, symbols\, and playing.

DESCRIPTION:A workshop with Jillian Christmas \nI am arriving at the belief that all good poetry is erotic\, and that all erotic good is certainly poetry. Which is not to say that all “erotic” “poetry” is “good”. But rather\, that an access to eroticism is at the core of what makes any poetry anywhere any good at all. What I name here to be the most erotic of acts is the distribution and acquisition of attention.\n\nAll good poetry is erotic because it labours to carry us into closer relationship with our own humanity. All good poetry is erotic because it endeavours to salt our wounds alive! Erotic\, as it reveals\, examines and forgives our shifting moralities\, erotic\, as it begs us to confront our naked vulnerabilities – as it reminds us that we are merely flesh and bone and blood and sweat and breath and cum and spirit.\n\nIf eroticism is not evident immediately or explicitly in the language\, or imagery of a good poem\, undeniably it will be present within the ethos\, praxis\, and labour of the writing itself. A stretch toward freedom is embedded in the very need to carve the words\, to conjure a memory out of absence is an act fueled by desire; freedom is inherently erotic.\n\nA human being can be seen: waging every imaginable manner of irreconcilable war\, crafting innumerable dimensions of havoc – all while dreaming of a soft bed\, on the other side of the ocean of our destruction. Everywhere there are gnarled and tangled horsemen of some apocalypse\, yearning to distract us from the patient hands of a waiting lover.\n\nWhat is a revolution\, if not an opportunity to turn — our attention toward a most deserving direction. Connection. Love. The ache of caress. A willing and consenting witness to some deeply chosen movement. Your body desires you. Your body deserves you…lean into the erotics of your own attention. Make poetry of everything you notice. Our desires shape the world we create.\n\nThis is a writing\, being\, relating and moving workshop designed to be accessible for all bodies.\n\nOver 2.5 hours we will engage in gentle rope work\, reflection\, writing\, conversation\, and a depth of curiosity.\n\n\nPlease carry with you:\n\n\n– any small sacred items that help you to conjure\n\n– rope (at least a couple lengths. As kinksters we know there are many more ways to be both of these things\, but what are they and how do you figure out which fits you best? Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker\, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys\, colouring books\, blankets\, noise cancelling earmuffs\, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.  \n\nCancellation and refund policy:\n\nIf Studio Allegory has to cancel an event\, we will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future\, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.  \nCancellation by participants: Cancellation before 48h prior to the start of the event entitles the ticket holder to a full refund. DESCRIPTION:New to kink and don’t know where to start? Interested in going to events but you don’t know how to behave\, what to wear\, what to do? You are definitely not alone and going to your first kink event can be quite intimidating. This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.
