We go through basic techniques\, knots & frictions\, safety and consent\, movement\, communication\, and artistic representation. Participants will be able to tie with each other in a joyful and interesting way. We understand each class as directed at both\, the person in ropes as well as the person tying. \nCurriculum \n\n\n1st Friday per month: Single & Double column ties. The basic knots\n2nd Friday per month: Frictions and Hitches. How to keep the ropes in place \n3rd Friday per month: Upper body ties with multiple ropes – “Takate Kote”\n4th Friday per month: Lower body ties – Hip harnesses\n5th Friday per month: Wild card\n\nAll classes contain various aspects of safety and consent for shibari and other play.  \nParticipants of the intro to rope series have free access to the open jam directly after the class.

This barrier free newcomer orientation helps people who are brand new to take their first steps into the fascinating world of kink. \nWhat to expect\nPart 1 — The first part is a conversation with the participants about the world of kink: Etiquette online and offline\, expectations\, dress codes at events\, possibilities and some recommendations\, especially for single folks. \nPart 2 —We go through a few of the most common kinks: bondage\, impact\, Dominance/submission\, fetishes\, etc. Participants can see how it feels to hold a flogger or be tied up. \nPart 3 — The last part is all about the open questions of the participants: Where to go from here? What to do with this or that fantasy? How to find someone to play with? And many more questions answered.

In this class we make sure that a) you do it with the necessary safety precautions and b) have fun with it. \nThere are definitely too many myths and semi-true infos about breath play out there and getting the education about it from a professional ultimately makes it better. \nWe will be bringing\, amongst other things\, dental floss\, gas masks and a chess set\, gloves (black latex and leather)\, one of those cheap plastic shower caps from a hotel bathroom…. straight jacket masks\, a cattle prod\, a stick of some kind\, and a mouth spreader. Also a clean handkerchief and maybe a pocket cpr mask.

DESCRIPTION:Play fighting is a completely different way of engaging with other people. The way we move\, think\, and relate to our environment changes in this type of interaction. This group activity lets participants challenge each other for a play fight. \nIn a safe environment\, participants can challenge themselves and each other to fight with each other in a playful and joyful way. Not winning but experiencing is the focus of this monthly event. After the discussion part of the class everyone will follow along with Annix to set up a safer sharps play station\, administer a needle to oneself or a classmate\, remove needle(s)\, provide wound care\, and station clean up. All materials will be provided\, though you are welcome to bring your own materials. DESCRIPTION:Shibari Live Drawing differs from usual live drawing sessions in two major ways. For one\, the poses that can be reached with the help of ropes are very different from anything live drawing models could assume on their own\, e.g. suspensions.  \nOn the other hand\, those poses are short living\, which means that artists are not only met with unusual poses but also with less time to catch them.  \nIn two Shibari performances by different Shibari practitioners from the community\, the participants will meet different body types every time.  \nAll levels welcome\, all media welcome (photography is dependent on the performer’s individual wishes and only as long as it does not disturb the other participants).  \n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Many of us are familiar with the concept of consensual nonconsent (CNC): a scenario where the folks involved agree to play that may appear nonconsensual. This can look like anything from using a safeword so “no” doesn’t mean “stop\,” to roleplaying being made to do things you “don’t want\,” to scenes with enacted violence like forced entry or kidnapping. \nWith such a wide range of things that can fall under CNC\, individual approaches may vary wildly. In this class we will discuss how to negotiate for CNC and create the container for play. We will also cover what it can look like to push boundaries on purpose\, and how that can feel as either a top or a bottom\, as well as risk mitigation and managing self image as folks oriented towards this kind of play.
