One of Studio Allegory’s main pillars is its educational program. Our almost daily classes and workshops are designed to offer a wide variety of contents from the world of intimacy, kink, and relationships as well as the politics surrounding them.
We believe that accessible education provides agency. Especially for queer and otherwise marginalized and policed people, because education provides agency to move more freely in a world shaped by information and misinformation.
We offer classes in Shibari/Kinbaku, impact play, breath play, D/s and power relationships, non-monogamous relationships, disability and kink, and many other topics.
Participants of our educational programs can expect a level of professionalism that is necessary and appropriate for the contents we offer. Our presenters and teachers are thoroughly vetted by the community and/or other experts in the field.
Shibari & Kinbaku
Rope bondage as art, philosophy & bodywork.
From absolute beginners to advanced practitioners — our Shibari program offers structured, ongoing classes for all levels. Built on a curriculum that goes beyond technique into the why of the practice.
Kink
Education that makes room for creativity and disagreement.
Impact play, power exchange, fetish, and more — taught by vetted educators with a commitment to opening up what kink can mean, rather than reproducing its clichés.
Intimacy
Intimacy as curiosity. Nothing is a given.
An essayistic, philosophical approach to what it means to be close — deconstructing the assumptions built into how we relate, touch, and encounter each other.
