Cancellations by Studio Allegory
If we cancel an event, you may choose between a full refund or a credit toward a similar future event. Refunds are processed within 10 business days.
Cancellations by Participants
To cancel, email us at [email] with your name and the event name.
- More than 48 hours before the event: Full refund (-$3.50 administrative fee).
- Between 48 hours and the start of the event: 50% of the ticket price, less a $3.50 administrative fee OR ticket transfer to a similar future event.
- After the event has started or no-show: No refund or credit.
Multi-Session Workshops & Series
If we cancel an event, you may choose between a full refund or a credit toward a similar future event. Refunds are processed within 10 business days.
- Before the first session: Full refund (-$3.50 administrative fee).
- After the first session has started: No refund. Credits toward future programming may be offered at our discretion.
Event Changes
If we significantly change the time, date, location, or instructor of an event, you may request a full refund regardless of timing.
Special Events
Some events may have different cancellation terms. These will be clearly posted on the event page before purchase.
How Refunds are Processed
Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days. At-the-door cash purchases are refunded by e-transfer or in person.
Wait Lists and Transfers
Ticket transfers to another person are permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice. Contact us at info@studio-allegory.com
Refund of Punch Passes
Punch Passes are non-refundable once purchased.
Transfers
- Punch Passes may not be transferred or resold without prior written approval from Studio Allegory.
- Studio Allegory may approve transfers in exceptional circumstances.
Expiry
- Punch Passes expire 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
- Extensions may be granted at Studio Allegory’s discretion in exceptional circumstances (for example, serious illness, injury, pregnancy, or military deployment)ĺ.
Class Cancellations
If Studio Allegory cancels a class, no punch will be deducted, or the punch will be restored if it has already been used.
One Month Membership Refund Policy
A Studio Allegory One Month Membership is a prepaid membership which entitles the member to entry into jams* and social events*, and 20% off all other classes. By purchasing a One Month Membership, you agree to the following terms:

Studio Allegory cancellation – Studio Allegory (the Studio) reserves the right to cancel a membership without refund where the holder breaches the rules and/or policies of the Studio.
