About This Event
Curious about hypnosis in kink and erotic contexts? This introductory session explores the psychology and practice of hypnosis, and its application in erotic and kink contexts. Participants will learn about the theory of the mind, how the subconscious operates, how hypnotic states are induced, and what actually happens during hypnosis. We will clear up common myths, discuss the applications and ethics of consent-based erotic hypnosis (hypnokink), and review evidence-based findings on hypnosis and, further, on BDSM and hypnokink.
The session includes live demonstrations and optional opportunities for participants to experience trance for themselves.
This workshop provides the foundation for Hypnokink 201: Practical Mindplay Lab, which focuses on hands-on skill development, scene planning, and supervised practice.
