Rituals In Kink – Moments That Matter

About This Event

Humans are weird little creatures. We light candles, wear lucky socks, always make tea in the same mug, and somehow convince ourselves that putting our boots on in just the right order makes us feel more powerful.

Turns out… we might be onto something.
Ritual isn’t about being mystical (unless that’s your thing). It’s about creating meaning, marking transitions, and telling our brains, “Hey, this moment matters.”

In this class we’ll explore why rituals show up in kink, what they can do for our scenes and relationships, and how to create rituals that actually feel like you, whether that’s a carefully choreographed power exchange or just taking three deep breaths before asking, “So… what are we doing today?”

Come curious. Leave with a few new ideas and probably at least one oddly specific habit.

My special interests are those types of kink and intimacy and sexuality that go beyond the cliches and traditions.

Accessibility

Studio Allegory is on the ground floor and there are no steps anywhere in the space. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys, colouring books, blankets, noise cancelling earmuffs, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.
