About This Event
This series of events aims to create a safe and community-focused space for Black, Indigenous and Persons of Color who loves rope. This edition of the BIPOC Jam will start with activities to get to know each other and support you finding potential rope partnership. You can also join the Community Skillshare, and maybe some rope games. This episode is facilitated by soya @soyasabi.
Tickets: click link in bio or at door. Pay what you want and no one will be turned away.
Things to Know: – All levels welcome (many of our participants are newbies and we love that!) – This is a masked event – Come solo or in group, make new rope friends! – Bring your ropes, some loaner ropes are available on site.
Accessibility: this space is wheel chair friendly, with a quite room and a small kitchen for tea.

Studio Allegory
Studio Allegory is a Vancouver-based queer space dedicated to education and research around queer intimacies. Our facilitation team brings together lived experience, community care, and a commitment to inclusive, consent-based learning for all LGBTQIA2S+ folks and friends.

Accessibility
Studio Allegory is on the ground floor and there are no steps anywhere in the space. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys, colouring books, blankets, noise cancelling earmuffs, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.
Cancellation & Refund
If Studio Allegory has to cancel an event: We will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.
