Mandatory for the whip receiver, optional but recommended for the whip thrower. • If noise sensitive: ear plugs/in ears Optional to bring: • Long sleeved clothing • A well-made bull- or snakewhip in 4-5ft braided length (total length including fall and cracker between 150-190cm)

About This Event
The sidearm flick is, in Andi’s opinion, one of the most variable and diverse whip techniques in interpersonal play. Once mastered, it allows you to explore a wide range of variations in distance, intensity and target areas. And even before that we’ll cover save(r) ways to start (almost) directly in engaging playfully with your consenting partner person as this is intended to be a couples workshop.
All participants will receive a professionally made (paracord) bullwhip for the duration of the workshop!
We’ll cover:
• A bit of theory and safety
• The basic sidearm flick
• Body wraps
• Variations
Required to bring:

Accessibility
Studio Allegory is on the ground floor and there are no steps anywhere in the space. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys, colouring books, blankets, noise cancelling earmuffs, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.
Cancellation & Refund
If Studio Allegory has to cancel an event: We will either refund ticket holders or transfer tickets to similar events in the future, depending on the wishes of the ticket holder.
