About This Event

Kink is embedded in the circuits of the social as is any other practice with the exception that arguably in kink, we are dealing with vulnerabilities that somehow seem to differentiate it from any other cultural practice; and it is not without controversies. In the eyes of society, kink is already controversial but there are also controversies within the kink scene. From practicing to accepting, from tolerating to shaming, different practices as well as different approaches to practices have always and will always lead to controversies within the field of practitioners.

In this Discussion, we are picking up some of these controversies and, without trying to settle them, we are holding space for an open debate about differing views.
