About This Event

So much to think about when preparing for a scene. Find a date and a space where you are undisturbed (or very much disturbed), negotiate consent, get all the toys and accessories ready, and then, well, you are in the mood for something completely different.

In this workshop, we are exploring how we can co-create emergent scenes, that is, where we don’t know beforehand what will happen or who will be doing what. From personal anecdotes, fluid storytelling and a healthier handling of expectations to hands-on (or in) tips and tricks.

Class contents:

  • What are emergent scenes? Advantages and disadvantages
  • How to establish consent when you don’t know what might happen?
  • The pleasure of switching – or not.
  • Fluid storytelling
  • Ending a scene that isn’t planned
  • Aftercare considerations
