About This Event
Rope bondage moves the mind and the heart but also, and most obviously, the body. There are poses, dynamics, forces, and movements possible that wouldn’t occur in everyday life and this bears risks for both the person in ropes and the person tying.
This class, led by Dr. Marina Liarsky, offers ways for both sides on the ropes to prepare for the most common practices, avoid the most common injuries, as well as possible approaches to therapy in case of an injury.
The workshop includes a presentation, demonstrations, and practice time with a specific focus on injury management and prevention.
