About This Event

You see this cool event on fetlife or Instagram? You really want to go and maybe you even imagine being the centre of attention from a bunch of cool folks. But scrolling down to read if you need a ticket or whether this is an SOP event is too much effort? No problem. This April 1st, we skip our regular program for a special class on how to read event descriptions.

You will learn how to

  • read the description in a comprehensive manner
  • get a ticket
  • click on links for further information
  • interpret stuff like FAQ’s (that’s for Frequently Asked Questions) and House rules (that’s the stuff that is allowed or forbidden at a venue)

At the end of the class, there will be a small exam and successful participants get a certificate that they can send along when they reach out to event organizers with questions. This certificate ensures that the recipient of your message won’t have a nervous breakdown or ban you from their events for all eternity.

No refunds. Tickets at the door only.

PS: Please consider the date before actually coming to the event. We won’t be there.

Accessibility

Studio Allegory is on the ground floor and there are no steps anywhere in the space. There is a single washroom for all with a handle bar and an air hand dryer. We have unscented soap, and we run an industrial air purifier automatically. Studio Allegory has a kitchen corner with a kettle and a coffee maker, as well as a mini fridge and a microwave. Studio Allegory also has a quiet room equipped with fidget toys, colouring books, blankets, noise cancelling earmuffs, and stuffed animals. Upon request we can provide closed captions for our workshops running on a screen. We have masks for a small donation.
