About This Event

To play with interrogation is a fantasy of many but to realize it can be difficult without knowing where to start, what to look for in terms of ideas, safety, negotiation, and much more.

In this Interrogation class, we will introduce the participants to the idea of playing with simple scenes that can be relatively easily prepared and executed.

We will cover a large variety of possibilities to help you get started with one of the most exciting phantasies within kink and intimacy.

Contents:
* Goals and outcomes of an interrogation scene
* Pre scene negotiations
* Safety and consent
* Secret and not so secret preparations
* Starting the scene and ending it
* Physical and psychological tools for interrogating
* Aftercare

The workshop is held by Barkas who has encountered “serious” interrogation scenes while being in the military as well as playful interrogation scenes in the kink world, mostly as the interrogator.

Facilitator

Georg Barkas

Georg Barkas (They/Them) is an intimacy educator, researcher, and rope bondage performer based in Vancouver, Canada. Their focus lies in the deconstruction of established norms and approaches to kink, intimacy, and sexuality. Their background in academics (physics, mathematics, history, and philosophy) is used to approach historically psychological aspects from different perspectives. Author of “Archaeology of personalities – a linguistic approach to erotic rope bondage”, as well as several articles in international magazines.

Facilitator

Addie

Addie (she/they) is a Vancouver-based educator and co-founder of Studio Allegory where she provides ongoing rope education as well as workshops in a variety of other kink topics. She is a switch and self-suspender, and her diverse background informs her instruction. Her happy place is nerding out on technical tidbits, breaking down ‘soft’ skills into specific trainable habits, and finding ways of tailoring rope experiences to the individual needs of the people involved.
