Anomalies is a weekend gathering with the aim of exploring what else is out there in kink, intimacy, relationship, and sexuality. What perspectives can we find if we deviated from the usual conference style where selected and often (semi-)professional presenters offer contents that repeat itself? What can we learn if we democratized that selection of content and presenters? What experiences may await us if we attend something that isn’t already fixed?

With these questions in mind we want to invite you to a gathering that is neither a conference nor an unconference, strictly speaking. It is an invitation to explore together possibilities and potentials of all of us.

For two days, we provide the physical location, a timetable, and holding the space for those who want to share, learn, observe, explore, experience, unlearn, and to break up with the same old techniques and aesthetics.

We specifically ask people with niche interests in kink, intimacy, sexuality, and relationships, as well as associated fields, who have not or rarely taught before to come forward and share their perspectives and their skills in whatever format you think is appropriate. Whether it’s a lecture, a demonstration, a guided experience, a hands-on workshop, or a discussion, we just ask that it’s not something that is regularly available. In other words, we want to see the weird shit* and we want to encourage those with no teaching experience.

After an intro circle in the morning of the first day, the floor is yours.

Tickets will be available between $80 and $120 per person. Tickets go online on July 15th at 6 PM PST.

• each 45 minutes long,
• always two simultaneously,
• Max 2 time slots per person,
• with a 15 minute break in between,
• Tickets: $100/person (Low barrier options available)

** People who have presented one or two times in smaller circles are still welcome to fill time slots. We ask those who have regular teaching gigs to leave time slots for others.
